Cornelius T.Donovan, Jr., “Connie” formerly of Arlington, Mass passed away September 26th. Beloved son of the late Cornelius T. Donovan of Skibereen Ireland and Mae Harrington-Donovan of Butte, Montana. He was 83 years old.
Connie was the husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” Donovan. Brother to Helen Jordan and her husband John Jordan of Stoneham, MA, Mary Oliver and her husband John of Reading,MA.
Brother-in-Law to Helen McKennedy and the late Jack McKennedy of Westwood, MA and Thomas McCarthy of Westwood,MA. Brother-in-law to Chuck Mitchell and his wife Kathi of Laconia, NH
He is survived by wife Susan Nettleton of 17 years where they resided in both Bedford, MA and Harwich, MA and his daughter, Noreen Donovan, of Bedford, MA ,the late Tricia Donovan-Leonard,t he late Timothy Donovan, Son-in-law Robert Leonard, and several nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered by his friends and family as a fun-loving and generous man who made lasting friendships. A graduate of Bentley College. He had a CPA firm in Woburn, MA for over 50 years and was very active in the Woburn Community with Woburn Rotary and The Woburn Elks.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., ARLINGTON on Tuesday October 3, 2023 from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in Saint Agnes’ Church, Medford St., Arlington at 10 am. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Parkinson Disease foundation of Boston.
