James P. Russell 1942-07-03 - 2023-07-10

RUSSELL, James P. ‘Jim’, Jr., of Burlington, formerly of Arlington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 10, 2023. Beloved husband of 32 years to Fran Russell (Cameron). Father of Lisa Wikle of MI, James R. Russell, Kelly Russell, and Kimberly Siska, all of FL. Dear brother of Barbara Angelou, Patricia Sullivan, and the late Ann Girouard. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Late Army Vietnam Era Veteran serving in Korea. Retired Letter Carrier form the U.S. Postal Service. Member of the American Legion. Jim loved watching all of the Boston Sports Teams, traveling with his late wife Fran, going out to restaurants, playing Texas-Holdem, and spending time with his Dog. He loved dressing up as Santa Clause around Christmas while spending time with his family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, Saturday, July 22nd from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Followed by his funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St. Arlington at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Military Honors will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the David James Hospice Unit, 200 Springs Road, Unit 2C, Bedford, MA 01730.
